Indian benchmark indices continued to gain strength during the noon trading session supported by buying in index heavyweights including Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, JSW Steel Ltd, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. and Larsen & Toubro Ltd. among others.
At 12:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 84135.3 up by 950.5 points or by 1.14 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25697.9 up by 282.1 points or by 1.11 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 84248.69 and intraday low of 83187.64 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25726.65 and intraday low of 25426.6
