Zinc prices on Thursday rose 2.99 per cent to Rs 298.05 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded Rs 8.65 or 2.99 per cent higher at Rs 298.05 per kg in 2,816 lots.
