Copper futures on Friday rose marginally by 0.32 per cent to Rs 802.75 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for January delivery climbed Rs 2.60 or 0.32 per cent to Rs 802.75 per kg in a business turnover of 5,999 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
