On Tuesday, guar gum prices increased by Rs 91 to Rs 10,077 per quintal in the futures market as speculators expanded their positions amid robust spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for April delivery gained Rs 91, or 0.90%, reaching Rs 10,077 per quintal, with an open interest of 45,910 lots.
Analysts attributed the price rise to traders increasing their bets in response to a strong trend in the physical market.
