Copper prices advanced by 0.55% to Rs 910.90 per kilogram in the futures market on Tuesday, supported by firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery climbed Rs 4.95, or 0.55%, to Rs 910.90 per kg, with a trading volume of 7,516 lots.
Analysts attributed the price increase to heightened bets by market participants.
