Silver prices climbed by Rs 539 to reach Rs 99,692 per kilogram on Wednesday as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery gained Rs 539 or 0.54% to Rs 99,692 per kg, with a business turnover of 19,357 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in silver prices to the buildup of fresh positions by market participants.
