The Company was incorporated on 10th June, 1982. It was promoted by Messers Continental Device India Ltd, and Delta Electronics Pvt. Ltd, of New Delhi in Collaboration with Messers Hamlin Inc. of Wisconsip, U.S.A. The financial collaborators Messers Hamlin Inc. of U.S.A. had subscribed for 1,80,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each in the Company. The Co. manufactures EPABX, Electronic Sub-Assemblies and Modules & Automotive components. The Co has also received an industrial licence for the manufacture of three million pieces per annum of electronic switches and mercury relays, primarily for export. It's installed capacity for the same stands at 1 million pieces per annum at present. the company also produces both colour as well as Black and White, Non-Remote as well as Remote control Models of Colour Television Receiver Sets, 14" Black & White Television Receiver Sets. Equity Shares were offered to the public during August, 1983, for cash at par. The object of the issue was to provide a part of the finance required for its project also to meet the expenses of the issue. The plant of the Co. is situated at Chandigarh, Punjab.
