| Ashok Organic Induatnes Limited was promoted as a private limited
company in I 973 by Late Shri M.H.Kadakia and be me a public limited company under section 43A on 01-01-1976 and under section 3 in terms of special resolution passed on 21-09-1992. The Company initially set up a Mono-Chloroacetic Acid (MCA) plant with a capacity of 900 tonnes per annum. Subsequently, the Company undertook various projects in the nature of forward and backward integration as well as expansion of its original product MCA.
MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY
1. To carry on the business of manufacturing, buying, selling, importing, exporting, distributing, processing exchanging, converting, altering, or otherwise handling or dealing, in export of chemicals of any nature and kind whatsoever including organic and inorganic chemicals, synthetics, solvents, dyes and chemicals, drugs, pharmaceuticals, medicines and chemicals popularly known as laboratory or fine chemicals and by-porducts or substances or substitutes for all or any of them as the Company deem necessary, expedient or practicable.
2. To apply for, purchase or otherwise acquire and protect, prolong and renew, whetehr in India or elsewhere any patents, bravets of invention, licences, concessions and the like conferring any exclusive or non-execulive or limited right to use or any secret or other information as to any invention which may seem capable of being used for any of the purposes of the Compnay or the acquisition of which may seem calculated directly indirectly to benefit the Compnay.
PRESENT BUSINESS
Presently, the Company has production facilities for various Organic Chemicals. Its major products are:
Acetic Acid 15000 tpa
Mono-chioroacetic Acid(MCA) 3600 tpa
Acetic Anhydride 6600 tpa
Carboxy Methyl Cellulose(CMC) 900 tpa
Ethyl Acetate 1800 tpa
Industrial Alcohol 200 lac lit. p.a.
at Ankleshwar, Boridara and Nandesari, all in Gujarat.

2011
-Company has changed its name from Ashok Organic Industries Ltd. to Kumaka Industries Ltd.
2012
-Ashok Organic Industries Ltd has informed that Ms. Prachi Saraiya has been appointed as Company Secretary & Compliance officer of the Company w.e.f. November 01, 2012.
