YEAR EVENTS
1964 - The Company was Incorporated on 11th December. It was originally
promoted by S.P. Murarka and consequently taken over by Shruti
Ltd.
- The Company's object is to manufacture white crystal sugar and
molasses.
1993 - The Company decided to implement the project by setting up a
plant to manufacture white crystal sugar and molasses.
1995 - Existing equity shares held by the promoters.
- 16,95,950 No. of equity shares of Rs.10 each for cash at par
allotted to promoters on preferential basis. 75,00,000 No. of
equity shares of Rs.10 each issued for cash at par in the
following basis:
- (i) Firm Allotment Basis: 3,00,000 shares to Kothari Pioneer
Prima Fund,
- (ii) 7,50,000 shares to UTI. 18,00,000 No. of equity shares to
NRIs.
- Balance 46,50,000 shares to the public.
2000 - The Company has signed an agreement with CDSL and NSDL for
dematerialisation.
2009 - The Company has shifted its Corporate Office from 12, Govt. Place, East, Kolkata - 700 069 to "Chandra Kunj" 4th Floor, 3, Pretoria Street, Kolkata - 700 071 with effect from November 30, 2009.
2024
-The Company name has changed to Kundan Minerals and Metals Ltd. from Eastern Sugar & Industries Ltd.
